The first one is the Gallery of Modern Art aka GoMA at the Royal Exchange Square.

Columns with corinthian orders supporting the load bearing barrel vault

The half dome shape above the entrance where I stood to take the first picture. The design is to create a spacious entrance into a grand interior.

This is special. The ellipse lightwell with levels of balustrates which gradually reduce its size towards the sky.It creates some sort of visual illusions but this probably affected by Bernini's use of ellipse in architecture.

Second is the church of St Andrew Square.

The steeple is the attenuated version of the rejected
proposals for St Mary-le-Strand, one of the old parish in London.

Observe the ceiling that curves towards the interior to allow more natural light enters into both side of the building.

Detailed ornamentation on the wall with a clock and on the 3D vaulting.

Centre of the church.
