I felt quite excited when I finally saw something on the land from the airplane about 15 mins till arrival.Widespread of greens covered by a misty layer group of clouds that gradually appeared clearer when I got back to the gravitation.Throw away my miss of home. The breeze of Glasgow was blowing towards my face.
Good moment will never remain long. After feeling the goodness, there were heavy luggages awaited me to collect n allocate them. That was…super energy consuming that we had to ‘drag’ our luggage till forth floor. Three of us, Feli staying wif Amanda, and I am staying at forth floor in different hall but same have no elevator. But we worked together to get our luggage to arrive at our place safely. My room, the first feeling when I opened the door, was no good feng shui.(Yea yea,you can say that Im kinda superstitious).Im staying at forth floor;the room number is number four;door facing the corridor.Anyway,Im quite satisfied that my room,my second home now,is quite spacious compare to the others eventhough it is not a perfect square plan, with a long rack on the wall, emm, just the wardrobe I wish it to be larger so that my clothes dont have to keep fit and squeeze together. And it is nearby the Department of Architecture, save my leg.
Here, people drink water directly from tap. That was the very first thing I got to know from one of my housemates.Oh, don’t forget about them, there are three, from China,a.k.a PRC,people from the Republic of China(by Thomas).
At night,we were bought to a bar called O’neills by Thomas’s friend.Bar here is like ‘mamak’ in Malaysia, just a place for them to hang out n chit chat.No teh tarik but beer everywhere. That meal costed £3.50.I had no appetite at all due to tiredness n sleepiness at the same time thinking of my room that had not be cleaned.Reached home was about 9sth,had to clean the room, took out things from luggage n arranged...n slept quite well coz of tiredness.

Woke up in the morning with muscles pain,However, that was not a time for us to hope that it will recover because somemore ‘extreme exercises’ are awaiting. We had shopping to do. We were very attempted to find out where Tesco is as everybody told us that it is the cheaper place to buy stuffs. We followed the plastic bag (carried by the passers-by) but lost our ‘connection line’ half way. So,we bought our necessity from a nearby shop called Aldi which is not expensive too.As a fresher in the town, map is our survival tool. With it,we explored our way bluntly inside n nearby the university. There were many parties going around, don’t be surprise if someone knocked your door at night n asked you would like to join their party.I must be very out of their social circle since I rejected all.I dun care.

It’s time to register. After a long queue,I failed to register myself cause I didn’t prepare any bankdraft for my fees.Had to wait for my dad to send it to me.Aih..very nervous if I do not pay the university on time,I’ll be charged poundss.Pray…
We found Tesco finally,by map.Bought a lot foods for weekly supply.Walked back to our hall n came out n bought cutlery from TJ Hughes n walked back.It was just too much of walking plus many flights of stairs had to pass through to reach our hall.Sweated even it was quite cold outside.
23rdSep2008
Early in the morning went to bank.People here will only start to be active at around 10.Few people in the street means not so many people fight for air with us.Vapors were appearing everyonce we open mouth n breath. It was cold. We,Shien,Sine n I walked to the city without any map which made us walking round n round n almost couldn’t find our way back to the university.I shopped for my clothes since I did not bring a lot here.Primark is the good destination with quite reasonable price.I bought four pieces of garments cost about £26.
Interesting places in Glasgow city I found it be George Square and Buchanan Street.Especially Buchanan,it is the most happening place in the city with very wide pedestrian walkway, branded boutique, variety of shoplots.George Square is a place where people sitting on the benches n enjoying the vastness of the space, where the monument of famous people were placed, eventhough I don’t really know who are they.It is a gathering point for pigeons too,so be careful.
So far, in this city, I found something that is quite architecturally n socially friendly(have to mention as a part of architectural students.....hahaha...).That is the disable people were being considered at most of the public facilities.Toilet and ramp are common.Another thing about it is their environmental friendly that they don’t promote plastic product as it will never decay in the earth. They use paper bag.I love to collect the nice one^^And there is actually a centre for LGBT, which is lesbian, gay, bisexual n transgender.

Took my first bus experience here to another big Tesco, called Tesco Extra.(There are 3 types of Tesco here, another 2 are Tesco Metro and Tesco Express)....lalalaa...after heavily shopping for daily stuffs had to carry everything go back to my hall by bus...
At night we went to the International Students Welcome Party.Free buffet (means dinner here) n wine.It was supremely crowded as everyone was having the same intention when go there--free food. So,we left n went to another dinner which was also free but peaceful. It was the Champlaincy Dinner.I'm not a Christian member thus not so keen on it but I managed to make some new friends from France n Northern Ireland...It was great. Our dinner was 'haggis' which is a type of Scottish traditional food.Taste quite nice.
27thSep2008
We went for a Scottish dance at night, organised by the Christian Champlaincy too, paid £4 for the entrance. It worth the pennies as we learnt a number of dances there...it's fun.
Watch this.someone is dancing there@@
Another joyful dance...
The one that I like the most^^~
Some dances before the 'lesson' ended..
28thSep2008
Went to site visit, which is the among the given boundaries from High Street to Queen Street,we had to choose a site from within. So,we walked street by street to 'explore every potential space'.On the way,we passed by Merchant City Festival, which was the last day for it.It was like a night market in Malaysia with stalls set along the road, food, clothes, handicrafts, bling bling etc.I bought 3 soup with different flavour that cost £10 in total.Kind of expensive but since it is a Scotland thing n it is made of original material,so just try itXD
I chose rose, lilies and lotus, those that smell nicee to me..
sadly the smell doesnt remain long after use:(
P/S:having problem with font here...sorry for the inconsistence in font type
