Manchester day trip

A short study trip to Manchester yesterday..
it wasnt a good start when we were late for the train..
things gone a bit better after we met up with the team..
Here are some photos from me:)
View of suburb outside the train when we travelled down from Scotland..saw sheeps like Shaun The Sheep animation..
so cutee but didnt take photo of them
A city with old n new architecture blended well together
This is so right!Manchester Civic Justice Centre..like it!
Snapshots on a street:PManchester Central Convention Complex with a stylish building behind
The Hilton Hotel.Slim n sleek.haha
a housing redevelopment project in Chimney Pot Park.
Manchester United Stadium!!zoom in from far><
Imperial War Museum North by Daniel Libeskind from far
Approaching to the entrance..
uncomfortably felt that i wasnt walking in a straight line which
the architect intented
design to send a message
to let us experience the aftermath of war
facing by the victims

started to see things hopping around once entered
Even the white elevator n the black box werent in firm straight line
from viewing platform to outside
enter from the elevator through the tunnel to this platform
See through from the platform at 29m height,n the platform was shaking.
Where is ground??

The way light illuminates the interior
the exterior
just swans in the river next to the museum
A dog being locked in a van barked at us!!~.~
Castlefield Housing Projects..simple with delicate detailing
Walk underneath a bridge going back to Piccadily train station..

Enjoy ya!!

Gosh, the structure of Manchester civil justice centre looks so cool postmodern... (is it ar?)

and the distorted structure of Imperial War Museum North by Daniel Libeskind, IS SO SUPERB! Wow, great architecture and design! I want to go in see ooo!! Must be a very different experience, I think it also acts as some kind of installation art... :D

hmm..the civil justice dun think is postmodern..just...modern building mayb...

The imperial made me so dizzy when i got inside..only then realize dont ever put slanted wall everywhere in a building...it's more like structural expression or sth like tat..hehe...didnt really catogorise them..

Just feel how glad tat i hav the chance to see all these:)
