ok..continue in english.. Just had a day trip to Edinburgh with friends..it was a 'super' windy day either in Glasgow or in Edinburgh. The morning was gloomy with drizzle from my view to outside which was differently described by Feli from her 'not-rainning' place. Perhaps my place was having two weathers at two opposite sides. It took about 1 hour to reach Edinburgh from Glasgow Queen Street Station and to shorten the journey in train, Carter n Siu Ning bought cards***CNY is around the corner..cards will soon become 'symbolically' meaningful to us..
forward is the St Giles church (every name for the entrance to a backlane or lane, the local ended them with a 'Close',mayb meaning closings from a street)

another church which i could not find any name attached to the entrance and the exterior (it does not function as a church though)
present to u the main entrance into the Edinburgh Castle

walls within the front barrier of the castle, further inside..please purchase ur ticket at the counter;)
conversation between walls, sky looks after..
supposedly there was a moat (trench filled with water) to close off the connection of this fort with the ground for protection..know this due to a research about castle i did for my technical english 2
the front view of the castle
the city overlooking the sea..yea..it is sea i finally found
view from the elevated castle with mountain behind

it is the sparkling only LV shop in Scotland..love their window display anywhere in the world..*love nice n appropriate n creative kind of window display with lightings*
Here ended our day trip to Edinburgh today. No photo to describe how windy it was that we had to walk against the wind with our 'strength' and my thing almost being blown away when i dropped it accidentally on a small street that i had to chase to catch it>><<..just with to share u with what i seen along the trip..enjoya!

heyy wei chi. a 'close' is what they use to describe tunnels. those closes used to be part of an underground city in edinburgh, some part still remain, you should've gone and see, they're amazing!
seeing those pictures brings back memories, i've been there and forgot to bring my camera, regretted it ever since. merry xmas =)
yea..we walked on some of the closes..the experience is good..also Edinburgh is not a flat land, the closes provide lanes with steps for the ppl to penetrate behind the buildings..
ppl say Edinburgh is better than Glasgow..now i see it..feel more comfortable being there mayb because of the scale of their town or street...
mayb in the future when u hav chance to come uk or scotland again..then can go again:)
merry christmasz~~
