Overcast n Rain n Wind
Woke up to the similar phone alarm, in a country that I had been dreaming n waiting of since secondary, the day is filled with excitement n anticipation. We arrived two days earlier than the group so that we can visit more places, spend quality n quantity time on nice places. This made us to conduct our own travel under some guidence of our friend Kah Fatt since he had been here once some years ago. After breakfast in the hostel, we moved our feet out from the hostel door, walked to the Metro n started our journey of the day!
First destination. Museu National D'art de Catalunya, Monjuic. It was not the best time when we went there as there was some renovation n preservation works going on. Anyhow, it is the best point where we can have panoramic view of the city from there. And and, there are outdoor escalators to assist us all the way up to the hill without trouble.

Next to the museum is where the Barcelona Pavilion located. We didnt go inside because need to pay for that n also it doesnt look like one it used to be published><
After this, we had to walk further up the hill surrounding the museum to go to the 1992 Olympic Site. Walk walk walk n we passed by some beautiful landscapes n take take take pictures.
And we finally arrived. The telecommunications tower (we called it the 'signature' building cause it looks like a signature of somebody) by Santiago Calatrava.

Walked further in is the Olympic Museum. After everything, we started to walk down from the hill to meet up with Amanda who had just arrived from Brussels, Belgium, at noon.

this was what we saw in La Rambla, on the way to meet Amanda. feel so 'friendly'. KL in Barca.hehehe. it is actually a boutique selling some kind of t-shirts.
We made ourselves to the seaside after meeting at Burger King in La Rambla. Really like the scenery when the yatches were parked at its lot orderly***daydreaming....sitting in the yatch to have my 100% perfect holiday***heheheheee....
We crossed the bridge n headed to the aquarium. Took pic with mr shark. And went to the National Theatre of Catalonia & the Municipal Auditoria to witness the night scenery of the them (We came with the group the next day in daytime).

Then then our stomach started to make noisee. We need dinner (According to what I read about their culture, ppl said restaurant here only open at 9pm for dinner). So, we took another train to Barceloneta station to cure our stomach. Yumyum...Sangria is their local wine with a tiny taste of orange in it. The dunno what Negro Paella (the black rice paella) is made of the black juice of inkfish. Tasty~~It still made us come back for more although it stained our teeth. lolz. After this, we went back hostel n took good rest.
