Barcelona - Day 3

050309 (Thursday)
Sun

Woke up to a sunny day. yeah~~finally glooomy no more. Had breakfast: 2breads, 4butterspreads, mixed cereals with warm milk, orange juice (I had them same for 5 continuous days). I went to the terrace outside n enjoyed the slightly cold but sunny mediterranean atmosphere. Feel really good:) It is going to be a good day:)

We took train to Passeig de Gracia (shopping street, extended from La Ramble, 5km in total). This is where Gaudi's work in the city situated. Casa Mila & Casa Batllo. Went in on other day. Next to Casa Batllo is this Casa Amatller by dunno who. Due to some reasons, we could not visit the premise that day. So we continued our next destination to a market. It was considered far from the street but since it is within walking distances, we decided to walk, as another chance for us to discover the old city too. Consequence was...we were lost. Luckily there was a local passer-by noticed our look for help with the 'broken' map (yea we used it too often until some part of it was tored.)
And so we arrived at the market n met up with Amanda (again.lol.) The market looks like a chinese temple dunno for what reason. We had our dinner at a restaurant nearby. Wished to try their fideua (Catalan noodle) but we missed the chance because it was sold out.
After eating have to do exercise~~so the place we go next was Gaudi's Park Guell. It is on a hill too but fortunately they are considered enough to provide escalator:D Finally we are there. I think there will not be another park which looks like this in the world. It is so beautiful, part of it is the colorful organic design by Gaudi, but mainly is the way it shades n exposed to the public that make it a great place to spend a day out with friends n family.
Halfway in the park, my two batteries died out n Feli borrowed her digital to me*sadsad* Then, we walked down the hill n rushed back to hostel to meet the group that had just arrived. Then dinner at spanish restaurant too. That is all my activities of the day.
