Here comes almost to the end of my holiday. Looking back to those assignment-free moments, I wonder how had I spent most of my time. Several things had taken my time quite normally such as shopping (the 'problem' i have to handle><), dinner-ing at Amily's place n looking for jobs. Besides all these, it would have been about watching movie, either went to the cinema to share the screen with friends and strangers or obsessed with the laptop screen in front of the sofa in the dim living room (and now it is in the quiet room of my own world which one wall is a window to the city centre). I took that chance, of having luxurious time to spend on, to look for movies that I might had missed out sometime ago and also those not-so-conventional movies. French, 'Old' English movies and other romance. My curiosity of French movies was from Khai Ling when we chatted about them whereas I started to 'appreciate' English movies when Marcia talked about them during my trip in London. Friends' influence I would say=)
Here is the list of quality movies I had watched that i think had revealed different faces of love. They are not really romantic and not even able to shed a tear of anyone. But they could just touch the heart lightly. Just enough. And leaving us food for thought in the end.
French: La Vie En Rose (La Mome)
French: Amelie (by Audrey Tautou who stars in Coco before Chanel )
French: Love Me If You Dare
Before Sunrise
Before Sunset
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Notebook
Annie Hall
Notting Hill
...it is just perfect in its way.
