Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind
Wanting to start again
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in
Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing
Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closed
So you can open one that leads you to the perfect road
The song 'firework' has been playing over and over in the radio. But part of the lyrics do remind me of something, something in life that i should keep my faith in...
2010 has been a dramatic year i would say. i see many scenes in life can change just in a glimpse of light sometimes without any precaution. time has no mercy is true. no matter what has happened we still need to move on. not to be ignorant but many things i can only accept them as they are. my conclusion will be that last year has been fruitful.
On the last day in 2010, i have spent an afternoon in the Theatre Royal watching the 'Cinderella' by the Scottish Ballet. have a good dinner at friends' place. last year this time i was at the Edinburgh Hogmany for countdown instead this year i have a night spent quietly at home in warmth. it wasn't bad, just a little bit that i cant get any view from my flat to watch a free firework.
On the first day of 2011, im glad that the first person i get to see and chat to is my daddy=) many times it may seem like we are running out of topic but it just feel good to chat with family. (surely not the n e d s standing in front of TJ Hughes who greeted me when i was trying to check out in an empty street if any shop opened on new year to get groceries).
May you have a good start in a new year.
